Community Coalition for Haiti
CCH Education programs promote student learning through teacher development, child wellness, and safe, learning-centered school environments. Since 2012, we have been partnering with schools in and around Jacmel, Haiti to advance these goals.

mission

Our mission is to transform lives, one by one, through long term and community driven solutions in healthcare, education and community development. CCH staff and its many volunteers have been working and walking alongside Haitian partners for more than 25 years. Through our collaborations, we aim to create foundations for sustainable initiatives that are maintained by Haitians themselves.

CCH programs and initiatives transform the lives of those men, women and children who live, work and worship in the communities that we serve. At the same time, those who serve are also transformed.

Impact 

When we lend our hands beyond our wallets, we extend our heart into the quality of the work we do; the bottom-line transforms from one of just “doing good” to one of selfless service.

The community I’ve worked with through Community Coalition for Haiti has transformed my life as much, if not more, as my support in raising funds, and offering on the ground support to build a school has provided.

I am grateful for how my idea of how my skills can be put to good use in the world has been impacted by the collaboration and connection with the Jacmel teachers, parents, students, and community. It is a joy and privilege to go beyond my own walls and be of service.
